Question about Phantasy Star Battery

I ordered one recently and just realized it may need a new battery.

I remember I used a new battery for zelda but just using tape, no solidering and it work perfectly.

Can I use strong tape with this one? Will it work in your opinion?

Or I just leave sega on for 1 week, I've done this before. I do not want to bother with soldiering for now.
